Geoffrey B. Flynn

Mr. Flynn is a Managing Director and Head of Cowen and Company's Consumer Investment Banking Group. Mr. Flynn rejoined Cowen in 2011, after Co-Heading the Specialty Retail practice at Piper Jaffray for a year. Prior to Piper Jaffray, Mr. Flynn had overseen Cowen's Consumer Investment Banking practice since 2005. Prior to Cowen, Mr. Flynn was a Partner at Thomas Weisel Partners and Co-Head of the Consumer Investment Banking Group. Prior to his six years at Thomas Weisel Partners, Mr. Flynn worked in the Consumer Group at Montgomery Securities. Mr. Flynn began his investment banking career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. In his 20 years in investment banking, Mr. Flynn has completed public and private financings for more than 100 consumer companies including Chipotle, Crocs, Morton's Steakhouse, Ruths Chris, Ulta Salon, UnderArmour and Vitamin Shoppe. In addition, he has advised many premier consumer companies on broad range of buy-side, sell-side, and restructuring assignments including Wingstop Restaurants, Charlotte Russe, Woot.com, backcountry.com, PF Changs and GMarket.

Owen L. Hart

Mr. Hart is a Managing Director in the Consumer Investment Banking Group as well as overseeing Cowen's Consumer M&A practice. In his more than 24 years in investment banking, Mr. Hart has advised clients on over 200 engagements. Prior to joining Cowen, he was a Founding Partner of Thomas Weisel Partners and Head of Consumer, Business Services and Semiconductor M&A. Prior to founding Thomas Weisel Partners, Mr. Hart served as Senior Managing Director at Montgomery Securities, overseeing M&A in the Consumer and Business Services sectors. He began his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert and also worked at Lazard Freres & Co before joining Montgomery Securities in 1994.
Mr. Hart holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an M.L.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Tufts University.
