James Burnes

Mr. Burnes is a Managing Director in the Health Care Investment Banking Group focusing on Biotechnology and Specialty Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Cowen, Mr. Burnes was a Managing Director at Oppenheimer & Co. Previously, Mr. Burnes was a senior calling officer at Credit Suisse in New York focused on Life Sciences companies. Mr. Burnes also spent six years at Lehman Brothers where he helped build out the Life Sciences Investment Banking franchise. Mr. Burnes began his distinguished Healthcare career at Furman Selz. Over the years, Mr. Burnes has been instrumental in raising capital and executing M&A transactions for several high profile Life Sciences companies.
Mr. Burnes received his Bachelor of Science from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley with a major in Finance.

George Milstein is a Managing Director in the Health Care Investment Banking Group focusing on Biotechnology and Life Sciences. He joined Cowen from Wedbush Pacific Growth Life Sciences, where was Head of the Strategic Advisory practice. Previously, Mr. Milstein was the Head of Investment Banking, a shareholder and a member of the Executive Committee for Pacific Growth Equities. Prior to his experience at Pacific Growth, he was an investment banker with Robertson, Stephens & Company.
Mr. Milstein holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from the University of Arizona.

Mr. Streator is a Managing Director in Cowen and Company's Health Care Investment Banking Group focusing on life sciences companies.
Prior to joining Cowen, Mr. Streator was Managing Director, Head of Health Care Investment Banking at Susquehanna Financial Group. Prior to Susquehanna, Mr. Streator was with Thomas Weisel Partners, where he founded the Health Care Investment Banking Group, and served as Partner and Co-Head of Health Care Investment Banking. Mr. Streator also served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Health Care Investment Banking at Hambrecht & Quist (now JPMorgan).
Mr. Streator received his Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in 1980 with a major in History and a Masters in Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 with a major in Finance.

Mr. Swindle is a Managing Director in the Health Care Investment Banking Group focusing on Biotechnology and Specialty Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Swindle joined Cowen from Wedbush Pacific Growth Life Sciences where he was Managing Director and Head of Health Care Investment Banking. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Pacific Growth Equities focused exclusively on emerging and specialty pharmaceuticals banking efforts. Prior to that role, Mr. Swindle was at Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Leucadia National Corporation.
Mr. Swindle holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
