Prior to joining Cowen's medical supplies and devices team in 2005, Doug Schenkel was a vice president with Global Biomedical Partners, managing a life science cross-over fund. Mr. Schenkel previously worked in private equity with Triumph Capital Group and started his career with Cowen & Company in the health care investment banking group.
