We invest equity capital in businesses undergoing ownership transition, divestitures, management buyouts or recapitalizations, as well as companies that need financing for projected growth initiatives. We prefer to make control investments, but will partner with other investors as well as selectively make minority investments depending on the specific terms of the opportunity, and provided that all constituent interests are appropriately aligned. We can structure transactions in order to accommodate the objectives of all constituents involved, including sellers, investors and managers.

Leveraged Buyout - Targeted buyout transactions typically range in valuation from $30 million to $200 million and exhibit strong free cash flow (EBITDA in the $5 million to $20 million range). We look for companies with defined market positions and a defensible niche. We take great care in the capitalization of our transactions, using leverage prudently to enhance investor and management returns while ensuring the company has the appropriate capital availability to achieve its long term plan.

Growth Equity - Targeted growth equity investment criteria include a proven business model, strong management, revenue of at least $10 million and annual organic growth in excess of 10%. We look for businesses with high return uses of capital, such as facility or capacity expansion to accommodate proven demand, implementation of a new product line or complimentary services or consolidation of a fragmented industry with clear synergies.
